We do love...
When all the media jumps on the same non-story aspect of a technical issue. Case in point, the brilliant discovery that had the employer of Syed Farook installed administrative overrides in the phone they provided him with, that same organization could unlock his phone remotely.
Duh. It's old tech you fools. You discovered nothing other than lazy administrators at the San Bernardino County Health Department.
It's a remote control app that has to be installed before the phone is given to an employee. It's not your fucking unicorn of a back-door. If the FBI has half a brain, it's the same software installed on their agent's phones.
Now that would be an interesting investigation.
