So if you're pronouncing...
The extension of Adobe's document rendering file format, Portable Document Format: PDF, you might say something like "pedif."
And if you were saying that you'd email your students a Portable Document Format representation of the study plan, you might say "I'm sending you kids a pedif file tonight."
And if you say it fast enough, you'll probably have some explaining to do.
