So, it looks like...

A bipartisan group of Senators have worked through their differences and created a proposal that would grant legal status to 11 million illegal immigrants, get them to pay taxes, back taxes, and reduce the government costs of dealing with them as criminals. It's the first step in a further reaching immigration overhaul.

Congress! Time to get to work and fuck things up!

Actually, this will probably get through. Congress is finally getting tired of being viewed as a bunch of fuck-ups here. However, once they have this done, we suspect they'll give themselves wiggle room on fucking up gun control, women's rights, ecological issues... the list, you know it already.
