One way to save...

We highly endorse sticking it to your phone carrier by using a free texting app.  They're getting pretty good, no reason not to at least try one out.

Not convinced yet?  You're not indignant enough.  Here, this will help.

The average text message costs around 10 cents, sometimes up to 50 cents, to the user.

Cost to the cell phone company for that?  $.003 per message.  Yeah, if you can't parse those decimal places, thank your parents for the home schooling - it's One-Third of a cent per message.  Even if you're down around a nickel a message, you're probably paying the largest mark-up in all your services.

So, get out there and save.
