Women and Children First!

And by first, apparently it means first to feel the budgeting wrath of the Republican house stripping funding from programs that protect women and children's issues.

Looking into all the "hard choices" politicians are feeding the public, apparently few of those are targeting rich, fat, white men.  Instead, they're going after those notorious leeches on society whose earning just hasn't kept up with the rest of the workforce.

To quote the Huffington Post:

From birth to old age, the Republican budget cuts treat women and children as if their lives and their health just don't matter.

And of course, they don't matter. Not to those whose lives are set already, the "got mine" tea party set who have no problem creating and passing on problems for future generations to deal with. 

Seriously, if you want to make a change, you've got to have spare change.
