And now... The Pope!
Coming out in favor of condoms is a hard thing for any Catholic leader. Every sperm is sacred after all. But when the guy coming out (hmmm, gotta work on that phrasing) is The Pope himself, you do tend to listen to his reasoning.
Reasoning: Recommended for male prostitutes to stem the tide of STDs.
