Who'd have thought in this day and age...

That a self-promoting father, just trying to get his family on a reality TV show, might instead end up in jail.

Yeah, we kinda did too.

Funny how things change over the years.  P.T. Barnum was famous for his fake sideshow exhibits, funneling acres of yokels through his shows on their eventual way to "The Great Egress!" And today, Barnum is an American model for the self-starting, bigger than life showman.

Of course, if Barnum was alive today he'd probably have made a killing in the pre-crash market...
