Ya wanna talk "death panels?"

Look at the current estimates for potential effects of the upcoming "Swine Flu" season.  Twenty to forty percent of the US population develop symptoms.  30,000 to 90,000 could die.  Mostly because of a slow response to the need for vaccine. 

Now we're looking at clinical trials that are incomplete while the manufacturers go ahead and fill their orders for shipping.  The upshot?  More uncertainty.

You have to wonder why the medical industry has been so slow to respond here. You have to. We do. And we smell money.  The kind that isn't there so they don't do anything until they can make more...
