OK, so Jobs lied?

Sure he told the Apple board of directors he was having a liver transplant, but not everyone else, not the general shareholder or employee. To them he was just relaxing and getting his hormones in balance.

Sure this is probably a good thing for Steve-o, reduces the chance of the spread of cancer, and sure it's his life. But he is Apple computer to many, he is what makes them different, no matter what the interim has been like.  Apple without Jobs is something many don't want to contemplate.

In the meantime we'll see how things go at the end of the month when he returns to Apple.  We do wish him well.  We just hope he's strong enough to throw out the AT&T deal in 2010.
