Cheney lied?  Shock and Awe!

Senator Carl Levin, chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee just punked Dick.

Apparently the classified CIA memos on "enhanced interrogation techniques" (kids, that would be waterboarding) show that said techniques did not work.

The quote to read aloud to your children would be that Levin's investigation into detainee abuse charges, now deemed torture, "gives the lie to Mr. Cheney's claims."

Mr. Cheney lied says the chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee.

Of course this does get back to the question of what "worked" means.  If it means that certain old men who can't get a boner without putting the screws to a surrogate for their frustration, all of a sudden no longer needed that little blue pill, perhaps it was a technique that worked for some.

What we want to know is, with Cheney fighting for the "good name" of the Bush administration, so publically and with such relish... where's George?
