Sometimes you feel for the defeated...

Especially when they finally start to talk some sense.  We've always considered ourselves fairly conservative fiscally, yet liberal socially.  The freak show fundamentalists who have been pulling the Republican strings for the past few decades poison that party to any semi-evolved species.

Then we read about a book like "It's My Party Too: The Battle for the Heart of the GOP and the Future of America." Basically saying the same thing.  Co-written by Christine Todd Whitman, who served as administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency from 2001 to 2003, and is currently co-chair of the Republican Leadership Council and Robert M. Bostock, a freelance speechwriter.  Together they penned a thoughtful rebuke to the insanity that has become the GOP.

Apparently some people have woken to the fact that the superstitious aspects of the current cult of republicanism scare the crap out of thinking people.

Of course it's too little, too late Chrissy. Your party is doomed.
