Pyro-technics...
Watching politicians is frustrating. Not so much about what they do, but more in the slow and moronic nature of their approach to the blatantly obvious.
Watching the news it does appear that most of California is on fire. Their skies gray from soot, firefighters dashing from one thousand acre burn to the next like your mom on an after Thanksgiving day sale.
And yet, they still find the time to debate whether they should ban the sale of fireworks.
Really?
OK, don't ban fireworks. But at least then abandon the pretense of stopping all the additional fires. Give the firefighters the break they deserve instead of treating them like an inexhaustible resource. If your landscape becomes more like a disaster, and less like an outbreak of an annoying genital rash, maybe you dumb fucks will wake up to some reason.
