Oh, don't you touch our YouTube...
We mentioned Pakistani Internet service providers were actively blocking YouTube because of issues around images of... somebody... you know... that guy. We're not one to name names you know.
Anyway, those whacky guys we're probably
responsible for a temporary world outage of
YouTube videos. However, it was probably
unintentional. They wouldn't be ones to try
to restrict how the rest of the world acts or
behaves, now would they?
A spokesman for the state telecommunications regulator, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, said the order had been "lifted after YouTube removed the content deemed insulting to Islam."
Islam could not be reached for comment. We expect she's still a little pissed off.
