Evil Xmas List #9: Money...
Ever see anyone return money? Nah, us neither. We kinda laugh when we see all those "gift credit card" commercials where they focus on how you can use it anywhere. What a novel idea, a card you can use to pay for stuff anywhere!
Yeah, just like cash.
| And a big FUCK YOU to the VISA company for all those happy friendly perfect world commercials where the clocks all stop and the jaws drop when some poor schlub tries to pay for his coffee with cash. Is there anything more insidious than the victimization of someone who is living off the VISA grid? And there's a good reason all the other people look like robots or ants in those commercials. It's almost self-parody. |
