Evil Xmas List #7: Twin Peaks...

Gone before most of you were born, there once was a magic two seasons of strange, frightening, hilarious, mysterious, devious, loving, invigorating and above all inventive television called Twin Peaks.

Unlike so many good things, it's not been available as a complete product for you to sample, taste, enjoy and engorge yourself on due to impenetrable copyright and legal problems. That is until just recently.

The Twin Peaks gold box collection has everything from the TV show's prior incarnations, with minor exceptions (some secondary commentary tracks, and of course the feature film prequel Fire Walk with Me, neither of which is a big problem.)

FBI agent Cooper drives into small Northwestern town Twin Peaks to investigate a murder, one of a string he's been following.  What follows from that premise is something you just have to experience for yourself.
