Simpsons 400

We stopped watching with any regularity years ago, the show became too mainstream, lost it's original edginess Yes, the shows established on the Tracey Ullman show were awesome, ground breaking, and wildly subversive, unlike the current show which is still undeservedly lauded with those adjectives.

For our money, Groening's Life in Hell is pure social poetry.  It is the essence from which the Simpsons was drawn, and source from which Simpsons has strayed too far.

Still, 400 of anything is praiseworthy these days (unless you're talking about actual days in office vs working vacation days.)

So, here's to you Homer.
