Defying Gravity...

If there's anyone who deserves this special ride, it's Stephen Hawking.  He's about to take a zero gravity ride from Cape Canaveral.  The long-time paraplegic and Lou Gehrig's disease survivor will launch from his wheelchair on April 26th. 

Basically what happens here is they fly up decently high into the stratosphere and then plunge for periods of time, which simulates a weightless environment. 

We've got no joke here.  The man is a legend.  This is just cool.
