"Yes we all wear thongs."
Gotta love the travel industry. More than that, you have to love how parochial and stuffy the rest of the world makes the USA look. Case in point: Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The tagline for their come-on to vacation there is "Yes we all wear thongs." We see a neat little Flash animation in their ad of a woman in a diaphanous skirt, waving it back and forth so we can see just how cheeky she can be in Brisbane.
The equivalent come-on for US holiday adventures? Well, the fantasy "Girls Gone Wild" Florida fake-out aside, we'd have to say it's "Yes, we all wear chaps" following that whole Brokeback fad.
