We miss Bill

Clinton's visit to Fox News Sunday was such a breath of fresh air.  Fox, lapdog "news" mouthpiece to the current right-wing disinformation policy, is part of the backwards into the future movement; whereby the current failing administration blames it's failures on the prior administration.  Eight months in office wasn't enough time to respond to subtle messages like "immediate and credible threats on American soil," that kind o'pondering takes a while to digest. Especially when you're busy firing all the competent people and installing your own cabinet of freaks.

So Clinton shows up on Fox News Sunday and the Fox news lackey Chris Wallace goes on the attack. Why didn't you do more to put Bin Laden and al Qaeda out of business when you were President?

What they didn't expect was a Clinton prepared to respond in kind.

"I want to know how many people in the Bush administration you've asked this question of. I want to know how many people in the Bush administration you asked ‘Why didn't you do anything about the Cole?' I want to know how many you asked ‘Why did you fire Dick Clarke?' I want to know…"

And how Fox tried to ambush him...

You set this meeting up because you were going to get a lot of criticism from your viewers because (Fox owner) Rupert Murdoch is going to get a lot of criticism from your viewers for supporting my work on Climate Change. And you came here under false pretenses and said that you'd spend half the time talking about (climate change.) You said you'd spend half the time talking about what we did out there to raise $7 billion plus over three days from 215 different commitments. And you don't care."

And nailing the Fox agenda...

There's a reason it's on people's minds. That's the point I'm trying to make. There's a reason it's on people's minds because they've done a serious disinformation campaign to create that impression.

You go Bill.  Damn, we miss the 90's.
