HAH!
The French are always good for a laugh. News today that France's Constitutional Council has ruled that due to their whacky copyright laws (their appraisal, not ours) iTunes and iPod represent a monopoly of sorts.
Norway's Consumer Council, backed by Denmark and Sweden, says the practice of restricting iTunes content to iPods is illegal!
While we love the irony of Apple being accused of maintaining an illegal monopoly, and all those smug little iFanboys getting all frothy defending Steve Jobs, we have to wonder how much of this shit US Tech companies are going to put up with before they hire their own armies and invade Europe. It would certainly be easier than this whole Iraq thing.
