Seriously though, all over the country you have people getting panicky about the weather. Stuff like "It hasn't been this cold since 1902" or "We're closing on a record for rainfall set in 1860." And the follow-up is people who blame global warming for the "weird" weather.
Come on folks, they didn't panic in 1902 or 1860. It was just weather. It changes, and it sets records. We love hitting the industrial nations upside the head for producing greenhouse gasses as much as the next guy, but sometimes weather is just weather. Don't let the weatherman fake you into thinking his report is something you have to watch hourly.
We would appreciate it if it cleared up for the weekend though.
