Damn lazy journalists...
Cheney makes a good point this morning about the journalistic work ethic. Journalists are lazy, slug like entities when compared to the administration. "The Dick's" point this morning is that journalists "didn't work hard enough to find the connection between Saddam Hussein and al-Qaida." We do imagine that they also didn't use enough imagination in deciding that there were no ties. Surely they can imagine a scenario where there was a connection. Damn, don't these guys read Dan Brown or Robert Ludlum? And we can look back in recent events to show similar journalistic shortcomings. The Weapons of Mass destruction were there, just as the Bush administration imagined they were, providing you BELIEVE and use your special imagination!
Damn, we've lost so much of an imagination resource now that Fred Rogers is gone.
