Conan the Barbarian
Quebec is a joke. Canada may take it seriously, but it doesn't mean the US or it's citizens have to bow down to it's whining. The current case in point:
Conan O'Brian's Triumph the Insult Comic Dog character riffed hilarious while visiting Q last week. Predictably, little Q's comic little government has been throwing a tantrum about the "utterly vile" "racist filth." More food for thought here is that the French Canadian "race" apparently can't take a joke any better than they can control a SARS outbreak. They did a bunch more ridiculous posturing, but we won't repeat it here because it's just not funny or serious enough.
Conan did a mock apology, which was in our minds too credible. We're waiting for Triumph to actually poop on someone here.

Seriously, we love most all Canadians, lovely people for the most part.
But Quebec, if you want to be taken seriously, you have to build credibility,
you can't just demand it. And if you're going to demand it, have the sense to
speak a language that does more than speak of years of bad hygiene,
infidelity, and bending over to the Germans. Is it any wonder Canadian
comics have to come to the US to further their careers? And by the way, the
Native American's from whom you infected and then stole your little province
from are miffed about your not speaking the native language of the area. Nothing
quite as satisfying as a big old helping of pompous double-standard.
