Chuck Palahniuk is the guy who wrote the book Fight Club, which was made into the movie starring Edward Norton and Brad Pitt. There, now you're oriented.
Lullaby is Chuck's 2002 book just recently released in paperback. Another great read, short, twisted, twisting, and with a hook in the last few pages that will twist your head completely around. This guy's a maniac, but scary brilliant. Highly recommended. We expect to eat through the rest of his books in short order.
